We have great news for you this issue. Nadia Lim, winner of the 2011 Master Chef, is writing our recipe and food section. As you might know, Nadia worked as a diabetes dietitian before her well-deserved win, so you can be sure her advice and recipes will be seriously delicious and focused on health. We also update you on changes to your next HbA1c results, plus an overview of all those tests your doctor asks for; as well as some nifty tips to get you through winter in good shape.

When disaster hits April 2011
Recently our thoughts, and those of all New Zealanders, have been with the people of Christchurch. We send our very best wishes as you and your city recover. This tragedy is also a timely reminder to check we are all prepared for an emergency. For people with diabetes, there are some special preparations which you can check out here.
